Limited Warranty
Safi warrants that your Safi personal water filter (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Safi will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of the Product. Replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product at Safi’s discretion.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
Use with non-potable water sources containing industrial chemicals, salt water, or other contaminants not intended for treatment
Modification, disassembly, or alteration of the product
Commercial or rental use
Normal wear and tear (including filter element exhaustion or clogging due to particulates or misuse)
Acts of God, accidents, or natural disasters
The warranty is valid only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safi, its affiliates, and distributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, profits, data, or personal injury arising out of or related to the use or misuse of the Product.
Safi’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product.
Proper Use and Safety Notice
Safi personal water filters are designed for use with freshwater sources such as lakes, rivers, or tap water that may contain biological contaminants. The Product does not remove chemicals, viruses, or dissolved salts unless explicitly stated on product labeling.
Users are responsible for following all operating, cleaning, and storage instructions provided by Safi. Failure to do so may result in diminished performance or product damage that is not covered under this warranty.
No Other Warranties
Except as expressly stated herein, Safi disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No oral or written advice or information provided by Safi or its representatives shall create a warranty.
Governing Law
This warranty and any disputes arising out of or relating to the Product shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Obtaining Warranty Service
To obtain service under this warranty, contact Safi. Include proof of purchase, a description of the defect, and photos if available. Safi may require the return of the product for inspection before processing a claim.
